A-Level Economics
I have over twelve years' experience teaching A-Level Economics at two of the top schools in the UK, alongside tutoring for families at other elite UK and international schools. I am experienced in teaching all exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA and the IB. A-Level Economics tutoring tends to work best as a weekly session.
University applications
I offer support for applications to top UK universities and US colleges; I have a particular focus on applications to Oxford, for E&M and for PPE, and Cambridge, for Economics and for Land Economy (Environment Law and Economics from 2027). I am able to offer advice on UK universities and Oxford and Cambridge colleges; personal statement advice and support; help finding essay competitions and making reading recommendations; and other ways to build up the personal statement. I also offer interview prep for Oxford and Cambridge applicants; this can include finding other mock interviewers where appropriate.
Pre-A-Level summer course
A 6-8 week course to help get students up to speed so they can hit the ground running in September. These sessions introduce students to key concepts so they feel confident in the A-Level classroom from day one.
Year 10/11 Introduction to Economics
Is Economics A-Level the right choice for you? This 4-6 week course will introduce pupils to Economics to help them make the right decisions when choosing their A-Levels.
University support
I offer support to University students, either on an ad-hoc basis or regular sessions.
Pre-University summer course
To introduce students to University-level Economics so they can feel confident from the start. These sessions focus particularly on Maths for Economics, as this is the largest difference between A-Level and University-level Economics.
16+ UK schools applications
Top UK schools usually require that pupils sit a test and and interview in their chosen A-Levels. With plenty of experience conducting 16+ interviews at two top UK schools, these sessions help prepare students for the application process.
